Anna May Feitelson
January 7, 1928 — September 2, 2022
Anna May Feitelson was born on January 7, 1928 in Scio, Oregon to John and Elva (Kent) Sneed. She would go on to graduate from Drain High School. During her life time, she would live in the Salem area, Eugene, Turner and then Stayton.
She would meet Melvin Feitelson while square dancing. This meeting would spark 52 years wonderful years of marriage.
In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, crafts and crocheting. She also loved to visit her family from Arizona. It was said that “she must have been tough as nails to have lived to be 94 years old and full of beans.”
On September 9, 2022, Anna passed away in Stayton, Oregon. She was preceded in passing by her son Eddy Engblom; and her brothers John (Polly) Sneed and Eugene (Bonnie) Sneed. She is survived by her loving husband, Melvin; daughter, Bonnie Higgins; grandchildren, Meira MeKay, Leia Higgins-Fleishman; great-grandchildren, Connor McKay and Caitlyn McKay; brother, Frank (Karen) Sneed, and daughters in law, Polly and Bonnie.
Anna was laid to rest at Lone Oak Cemetery in Stayton, Oregon. A Celebration of Life will be announced.
