Anita was born on August 19, 1934 in Buckman Minnesota to John and Veronica (Wurzer) Venteicher. At a young age she moved to Oregon and attended North Salem High School. She grew up in the outskirts of Sublimity where she would meet the love of her life, Elmer Wolf. Elmer was her next door neighbor and after he came back from the service they would begin a relationship and marry on June 27, 1953. Together, they would live in Salem and later on in Aumsville, Oregon. They would begin a family and were blessed with three children, Bonnie, Carleen and Randy. Throughout the time of raising her children, Anita loved a busy and filled home with all of her children’s friends. She would be a wonderful homemaker who sewed, canned and took care of her children but also would work seasonally at Norpac. Anita loved to travel and you never had to convince her to jump in a car and get going on the road, especially if that trip was meant to go and help one of her family members.  In 1982, Elmer would pass away at a young age and a year later, she would lose her daughter Carleen to cystic fibrosis. Losing a child and husband in such a short time frame was detrimental to Anita, but she remained strong for her two other children. She was a wonderful friend to her children in their older years always giving them good advice and helping them in a pinch.  In her later years, Anita loved to crochet, play bingo, bunco and spend time with family. However, her relationship with God was second to none. When times were tough, Anita found strength in the Lord.  On January 21, 2021 Anita passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the comfort of her family. She had 86 beautiful years here on Earth and now will rejoice with her Lord eternally. Anita will be placed at Willamette National Cemetery with a memorial closer to spring/summer. She is survived by her children, Randy (Debra) Wolf and Bonnie (Andy) Scott. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Cystic Fibroses Foundation.
