ALFRED L. LESEMANN November 14, 1915 – November 15, 2011 Turner, Oregon TURNER – Alfred L. Lesemann passed away on Tuesday the 15th at Stayton. He had just celebrated his 96th birthday. He was the son of Fredrick and Hazel Lesemann. He lived in Oklahoma where he graduated from high school . He was married to Wilda Weddle on June 10, 1941 at Lamar, Missouri and they made their home in Kansas before moving to Oregon City in 1949 and to Portland in 1950. While living in Portland he had worked for Cornell Pump company as a machinist. He retired after 20 years and they moved to Turner in 1980. He was a devoted church member of the Turner Christian Church having served as a Chairman and Elder, he was very active in youth groups as well. He enjoyed photography and video cameras. He volunteered his time at the Turner Retirement home and enjoyed repairing and care of the building and grounds. He is survived by his beloved wife, Wilda of Turner; sister, Alvena Godbehere of Oklahoma; nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial service will be held Monday, November 21st at 2:00 pm at the Turner Retirement Home. Interment will be in Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the Turner Retirement Home.
