Alena Doris Thomas

Stayton- Alena Doris Thomas was born on February 6, 1928 in Sublimity, Oregon to Frank and Rebecca (Brewer) Lahr.  As a child the family would move around but she would eventually graduate from High School in Seaside, Oregon. Family was everything to Alena and she would always go out of her way to spend time with them.  She would work small jobs here and there, but she was mostly a homemaker which she took great pride in.  When her own children grew up and started families of their own, she was there for the grandchildren as well.  In her spare time Alena enjoyed reading, Knitting, Crocheting, Going to the Beach and Clamming.  For many years she was also a member of Netarts Friends Church in Tillamook, Oregon. On July 23,2020 Alena passed away in Stayton, Oregon.  She was proceeded in passing by her parents Frank and Rebecca; Son in Law, Bill Carter; and several siblings.  She is survived by, her children, Debra Carter, Susan (John) Chartier, and Gregory (Somjit) Thomas; Grandchildren, Christy, Cindy, Linda, Deanna, Beth, Jena, Jerry and Jason; 18 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
