A. Maria Konnersman

Dec. 6, 1922   †  March 8, 2013 A.   Maria Konnersman, 90, of Sublimity passed away on Friday the 8th in Sublimity.  The daughter of Anton and Anna Ziegler.  Maria was born and lived in Yugoslavia before moving to Portland in the early 1950’s.   She became a US citizen and had worked for the IRS and was also a Homemaker.  She was married to Guy Konnersman in Oregon City where they were active in the St. Philip Biniz Catholic Church.  Guy preceded Maria in death in 2002.  She then lived in Mt. Angel, Sublimity and Stayton.  Maria enjoyed baking, canning, gardening and reading.  She is survived by her daughters, Linda Nell of Eugene and Carol (John) Turner of Lyons and son Brian (Michele-dec.) Konnersman.  Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 10:30 am followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at the St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church , 18211 S. Henrici Rd. in Oregon City.  Committal service will follow at Redland Pioneer Cemetery in Oregon City. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, OR.
