Ross Richard Klutke

On Saturday December 5th, 2020 Ross Richard Klutke, loving father and son, passed away at the age of 78.  Ross was born on March 25th, 1942 in Idaho Falls, ID growing up in Gates, OR.  He served in the Navy from 1962 and honorably discharged in 1965.  While stationed at Pearl Harbor, Ross became a faithful servant of the Baha’i Faith. He earned his master’s degree in Business from Willamette University and applied his education to a career with the State of Oregon and in Information Technology.  Ross was an avid reader of everything he could put his hands on.  He loved to hunt and fish up and down the Santiam Canyon.  And he was a pioneer and teacher of the Baha’i Faith wherever he went. Ross was preceded in death by his father Elmer and brother Dennis and is survived by his mother Betty Jean and his three children, Rustam, Maxwell and Malia, three grandchildren and one great grandchild as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.  Services will be held at Weddle Funeral Service in Stayton, OR on Monday December 14th at 11:00 AM.  Live virtual service will also be provided at the following website address https://my.gather.app/remember/ross-klutke A GoFundMe account has been setup to help cover funeral expenses, with all exceeding funds being donated in his name to the Baha`I Fund https://www.gofundme.com/f/funeral-memorial-expenses-for-ross-r-klutke?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1
