Robin Lynn Schmitz

Robin Lynn Schmitz was the firstborn to Ervin and Myra (Miller) Geiszler  on January 20, 1966, in Oregon City, Oregon, her younger brothers Rod Geiszler and Ron Geiszler completed the family. Robin graduated Highschool from Phoenix High School in 1984.

Robin gave birth to her first child, David Schmitz on October 14, 1985. It was just the two of them until they met Dave. Dave and Robin married on December 22, 1989, on Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. Soon after they welcomed Allie Street on June 15, 1991, and later Danielle Matson on October 1, 1995.

Robin worked at Stayton Elementary for 16 years in some form or fashion, holding different roles that would help students throughout their early years of development. Robin loved her job but was ready to retire to be with her grandbabies full-time in 2021.

Robin’s favorite past time was being together with her family and especially her grandchildren. She wanted to just listen to us visit and play games. She cared for her family deeply. She loved to sew for the community including prom dresses, wedding dresses, and various other projects.

Robin is survived by her parents Myra & Ervin Geiszler; brother Ron Geisler; son David, Ali & Harper Schmitz; daughter Allie, Levi, Eli & Noah Street; daughter Danielle, Sutter, Emma & Chase Matson.
