Debra Diane Price

Debra was born in Coos Bay, Oregon, on August 24, 1957, to Darryl Eugene and Shirley Diane (Allen) Price. She grew up with one brother, Richard Price. By the time she was a young adult, Debra had lost both of her parents. Being faced with such a tragic loss so young caused Debra to face some hardship in her life. When she met Randy Weitman, she found the love and support she needed. Debra worked for the State of Oregon as a janitor for 18 years until she was hurt on the job. After the injury, she decided to go to college in order to be able to work in another field. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Accounting, but her health took a turn soon after, and she was unable to work. One of the greatest joys in Debra’s life, and her best friend, was her daughter Katrina. The pair was inseparable and did everything together, including traveling. Mother and daughter took cruises to the Bahamas and enjoyed the sand, sunshine, and warm blue Caribbean water. During their time on the big Island of Hawaii, they toured the coffee plantation and a seahorse farm. Debra was a kind and loving person, outgoing, friendly and funny. Everyone that met her loved her. She loved to talk and visit with people and really enjoyed having the neighbors over to hang out and swim in their in-ground pool. Debra loved swimming. She also enjoyed going to the movies, gardening, and working outdoors. But Debra LOVED Christmas! Her home was always decked out for the holidays, more than any other home in their neighborhood. Randy and Katrina were always there to help her with the weeks of preparation and decorating. The family also raised Papillon dogs and enjoyed their silly antics and unique personalities. Debra was greatly loved and will be intensely missed by her loving companion of 30 years, Randy, and her beloved daughter Katrina. Debra is also survived by her numerous cherished friends. Debra was preceded in death by her parents and her brother. Services are pending and information will be published as plans are confirmed.
