Virginia – Ginger – A. (Robinson) Melton

Virginia Melton went to be with the Lord, Saturday as the result of an accident at the age of 53. Born in Salem to Leo and Eunis Robinson. Virginia graduated from Lebanon Union High School in 1975. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Salem Housing Authority and volunteered her time to many organizations and individuals that needed her. Family was so very important to her and she loved to organize and host family events for all of us. Family night with her sons and grandchildren was one of her favorite things. Her other loves included quiet morning coffee with her husband, camping, traveling, reading, hosting tables for women

  1. An angel on earth and now an angel in heaven. I will never forget my friend nor her family. She is a friend that I will always treasure and she will forever be in my heart and soul.

  2. Words can not express how much Virginia will be missed. I will miss her smiling face greeting all those who came to SHA. She was the best ambassador we could hope to find. With her kind words and plaesant demeanor Ginger was able to put even the most agitated and desperate clients we serve at ease.

  3. Virginia was one of the sweetest, gentle, caring and kindest person I have known. She sincerely loved her family. To all that were fortunate enough to know her and meet her will not forgot the sweetness she radiated.

Not only was she a Christian, she lived the life of a true Christian in all her actions, deeds and words.

Although, she will be greatly missed by so many here on earth, it is easier to grieve knowing she is truly with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We loved you and will miss you Virginia.

My prayers go out for all of her immediate family.

  4. Terry Melton-

I wish she never told me both of yours son is obsessive compulsive. I wish I knew of the enclosed material and had given it to her well before I came upon it 11/09.

I cry much for many things.

Crying is better than most stuff.

Big deal-I write dramatically better than I write poetically!

Please read the enclosed (will hopefully drop off 12/29/09).
