  1. To the Smith Family:

I remember your mom really well. I was in the big/brother-big/sister program when I was a student at Willamette Univ. Billy was my “little brother” and he used to call my girlfriend “pink pants”. “Pink-Pants” and I have been married for 34 years and have 2 daughters and one granddaughter. I remember some fun times with Debbie and the Smith brothers: a trip to the Portland Airport and a quick flight on a jet; trips to the snow for some inner-tubing; carving pumpkins at the Kappa Sigma house before Halloween. Your mom was always there to welcome us when we would come by to pick you up and exuded a sense of gratitude to us for taking an interest in her children. I remember her very well and hope that each of you will be comforted in the good memories that you share of times spent with her. Blessings to you all!

  2. Dear Smith family,

I remember your mom as a very loving and caring person. She was always kind to me.
I am sorry to hear of her passing.
I too, like Dave Greger, remember those ‘Big Brother” days and Eddy flying off a tube and landing really hard on his belly in the snoww up at Hoodoo.

I will remember you all in my prayers as you mourn the loss of your beloved Mom.
