  1. Sorry to hear of Gene’s passing. Every time we met we had a good talk and enjoyed each others company. I’m proud
to have called him my friend.

  2. Please accept my sincere condolances upon Gene’s passing. We met under very trying circumstances. He was a rock whose quiet strength helped pull us through that time! You may not recall my name. I was the neighbor who gathered up the boys after Carolyn and John were murdered.

  3. Doris and family, I am so sorry to hear of Eugene’s passing. But am happy he has moved on to a better place and can be with Carolyn and John. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I think of you and John and Ken often. My prayer has always been that the trauma of the murders has made all of us a stronger and better person. God bless all of you. Sharon Eckfield Sedgwick, Tieton, Washington.

  4. I am so sorry for your loss. I met Gene when I was just a little girl. Both Gene and Doris were wonderful, they brought John and Ken down to see me in Coos Bay where we had a great visit. They also welcomed us in their home at a later time, I remember playing their piano! I think of your family so very often and I consider it a true honor to have known all of you, even it was for a brief time. Sara Price – Flower Mound, Texas.

Thank you for your kind words about Garandpa. We will all miss him.
You will never know the impact you all had in my life, and it is amaizing that even after all this time you still care enough to take time to let us know we are loved.
I will Never forget any of you.
